Warm, practical, depth-oriented therapy for depression, anxiety, trauma, and the patterns that keep you feeling stuck.
You may be feeling anxious, low, overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in patterns you can’t seem to change. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy.

Does any of this sound familiar?
Therapy may be helpful if you’ve been feeling stuck in patterns that are difficult to change on your own.
Your mind rarely seems to switch off. You may overthink conversations, anticipate what could go wrong, or feel tense even when everything seems fine.
You feel low, unmotivated, emotionally numb, or disconnected from yourself and the life you want to be living.
Past experiences continue to affect how you feel, relate to others, or respond to stress, even when part of you knows you’re safe now.
Burnout & Stress
You keep functioning, but underneath you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or running on empty.
Relationships & Attachment
You notice recurring patterns around closeness, rejection, conflict, trust, or feeling misunderstood.
Addictive Coping
You find yourself turning to substances or other behaviours for relief, even when you know they’re creating problems of their own.
You don’t need to fit neatly into a diagnosis to benefit from therapy.
A DEEPER APPROACH TO THERAPY
Understanding the symptoms
and what’s underneath them.
Sometimes coping strategies are exactly what you need. But lasting change can also involve understanding why certain feelings, relationships, and patterns keep returning.
My approach combines practical tools for managing what you’re experiencing now with deeper exploration of the experiences, emotions, and patterns underneath it.
Therapy can help us ask both: “How do I feel better?” and “Why does this keep happening, and what needs to change?”
DEPRESSION
When life starts to feel flat, heavy, or disconnected.
Depression doesn’t always look like constant sadness. Sometimes it’s exhaustion, numbness, isolation, loss of motivation, self-criticism, or feeling as though you’re going through the motions.
Therapy can help you understand what may be contributing to these feelings while gradually reconnecting with meaning, emotion, relationships, and yourself.
ANXIETY
When your mind won’t let you rest.
Anxiety can show up as overthinking, tension, self-doubt, difficulty relaxing, social anxiety, or constantly anticipating what might go wrong.
We’ll work on practical ways of regulating anxiety while also exploring the experiences and patterns that may be keeping your nervous system on alert.
TRAUMA & PTSD
When the past still feels present.
Trauma can shape how you experience safety, relationships, emotions, and even your own body long after an experience has ended.
Therapy can provide a gradual, collaborative space to understand these responses, build greater safety and regulation, and work toward feeling less controlled by the past.
ABOUT TONY
A warm, collaborative approach to therapy.
I’m Tony Moghaddam, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and three years of clinical experience.
I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely understood rather than analyzed from a distance. My style is warm, curious, collaborative, and direct when helpful.
Rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach, I draw from psychodynamic and attachment-based therapy, somatic approaches, CBT, IFS-informed parts work, DBT, ACT, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing depending on what you need.

Therapy tailored to you—not a formula.
Some sessions may focus on practical ways to manage what you’re experiencing right now. Others may involve slowing down, noticing what’s happening emotionally or physically, exploring your relationships, or understanding where a recurring pattern began.
The goal isn’t simply to give you advice. It’s to help you understand yourself more deeply and develop greater freedom in how you respond to your life.
